This is a demanding yet rewarding adventure that takes you from Paro to Thimphu, following the ancient path of the highlanders. Known for its stunning high-altitude wildflowers, the trek offers a rare glimpse into the unique lifestyle of Bhutan's remote communities. For the first two days, you'll trek along the Paro Chhu River, eventually reaching the Jangothang basecamp, where panoramic views of the majestic Mt. Jumolhari, the "Goddess of the Mountains," await.
This trek can also be done in reverse, from Thimphu to Paro, and is customizable to suit different preferences.
